Baburao Polavarapu began his artistic journey as a stage artist with Kala Jyotsna. His theatre experience developed his understanding of stage performance, dialogue delivery, expressions and character portrayal.

His professional theatre training continued in Visakhapatnam under Sri L. Satyanand’s Kala Jyotsna. His journey later expanded from theatre to Telugu cinema, television, film financing and production.
